Parsley, Sage and Thyme Oil Recipes

Ingredients :

2 1/2 cup sunflower oil

1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley, curly or Italian

1/8 cup chopped fresh sage

1/4 cup chopped fresh thyme

Method :
  1. Pour the oil into a sterilized jar and add all the herbs.
  2. Cover and allow to stand at room temperature for about a week, no longer.
  3. Stir or shake occasionally during that time.
  4. Then strain off the oil into a sterilized bottle and discard the used herbs.
  5. Add a fresh sprig or two for decorative purpose if you wish.
  6. Seal the jar carefully.
  7. Store, preferably in a cool place, for 6 months at the most.

Makes about 2 1/2 cups
